For target sequence matching Intact Mass Analysis experiments, you can add, delete, or edit sequences using the Sequences Added to Experiment and Global Sequence Reference tables as necessary.
No. | Description | No. | Description |
---|---|---|---|
1 | Sequences Added to Experiment table | 6 | Open the Oligonucleotide Sequence Editor to create a new oligonucleotide sequence |
2 | Global Sequence Reference table | 7 | Open the appropriate Sequence Editor to edit the selected sequence |
3 | Remove the selected sequence from the Sequence Added to Experiment table | 8 | Delete the selected sequence |
4 | View the selected sequence | 9 | Add the selected sequence to the Sequences Added to Experiment table |
5 | Open the Protein Sequence Editor to create a new protein sequence |
Add a new sequence to the Global Sequence Reference table
Procedure
- Select New next to the Global Sequence Reference table.
- The appropriate Sequence Editor opens.
- In the appropriate Sequence Editor, import a FASTA file containing a new sequence of interest or manually enter the sequence and assign the Category as "Intact Protein" (for proteins) or "Intact Deconvolution" (for oligonucleotides).
- Save the sequence and close the Sequence Editor.
- The sequence is added to the Global Sequence Reference table.
Edit an existing sequence in the Global Sequence Reference table
Procedure
- Select the sequence row in the Global Sequence Reference table.
- Select Edit next to the Global Sequence Reference table.
- The appropriate Sequence Editor opens and displays the sequence information.
- In the Sequence Editor, edit the sequence information as necessary.
- Save the sequence and close the Sequence Editor.
- The sequence is updated in the Global Sequence Reference table.
Delete a sequence from the Global Sequence Reference table
Procedure
- Select the sequence row in the Global Sequence Reference table.
- Select Delete next to the Global Sequence Reference table.
- A confirmation dialog box appears.
- Select OK to delete the sequence.
- The deleted sequence is removed from the Global Sequence Table.
Add a sequence from the Global Sequence Reference table to the experiment
Procedure
