Procedure

  1. Start the BioPharma Finder application in Ardia Platform mode.
  2. On the BioPharma Finder Home page, in the Experiment Types pane, select the appropriate workflow link.
  3. The corresponding workflow page opens.
  4. On the navigation bar, select the Load Results tab.
  5. The Ardia Platform data repository folder tree opens.
  6. Open any experiment from the Ardia Platform data repository to enable the BioPharma Finder Report pages.
  7. On the Report page, select the Design button to view the Design subpage (if necessary).
  8. On the Design subpage, select Open on the File menu.
  9. In the left pane of the Choose Ardia Repository Folder dialog box, select the Ardia Repository root node as the location for the new folder.
  10. The selected Ardia Repository root node is highlighted in blue.
  11. Navigate to the folder location where you want to create the "ReportTemplates" folder.
  12. TIP

You can create the "ReportTemplates" folder for the default report templates at any node level of the Ardia Platform data repository.

However, creating it as a top-level folder under the Ardia Repository root node makes it easy to share the default report templates with other users and implement standardized report protocols.

  13. In the upper-right corner of the window, select the three-dot menu icon and then select Create Folder from the menu.
  14. A new folder appears in the left pane of the dialog box and a cursor appears so that you can type the name of the new folder.
  15. Name the new folder "ReportTemplates". Select anywhere outside the folder name text box or press the ENTER key to apply the folder name.
  16. IMPORTANT

The folder for the default report templates must be named exactly as described ("ReportTemplates") for the application to recognize it.

If the folder is named differently, you will not be able to open the default report templates in the Report Designer.

  17. The new ReportTemplates folder appears in the left pane as a subfolder under the Ardia Repository root node.
  18. Select Cancel to close the window.
