When you submit an experiment for processing, the BioPharma Finder application adds the experiment to the run queue and opens the Queue page. The Queue page lists all of the jobs and their respective statuses in the run queue table.
The following table described the statuses of jobs in the run queue.
Job status | Description |
---|---|
Running | The experiment is actively processing. |
Submitted | The experiment is in queue for processing. |
Completed | The experiment is complete. |
Completed, Report Not Concatenated | (For Intact Mass Analysis experiments only) The experiment is complete, but the application has not generated the reports because of memory constraints. |
Cancelled | The experiment is cancelled; the user stopped the experiment during processing. |
Error | An error has occurred and processing cannot be completed. |
Abort | The application crashed or closed abruptly during processing. |
TIP
An Error status can result if there is not enough memory available to process a large job.
You can reduce the amount of data processed by adjusting the retention time range, S/N threshold, or m/z range for your experiment.
When you submit multiple jobs for processing, the application processes one job at a time, in either chronological (first job submitted is processed first) or reverse chronological (last job submitted is processed first) order, depending on the workflow.
The following table displays the order of job processing for each workflow.
Workflow | Order of job processing |
---|---|
Peptide Mapping Analysis | Reverse chronological (most recently submitted first) |
Oligonucleotide Analysis | Reverse chronological (most recently submitted first) |
Intact Mass Analysis | Chronological |
Top Down Analysis | Reverse chronological (most recently submitted first) |
