Procedure

1. Carefully remove the check valve cartridges from the valve housings.
2. Place the check valve housings and cartridges in a beaker with methanol. Sonicate or agitate the parts for several minutes.
3. Rinse each check valve housing and cartridge thoroughly with ASTM filtered, Type I (18.2 megohm-cm) deionized water that meets the specifications listed in Deionized water requirements for IC.
