The flow-through conductivity cell (see the following image) located within the conductivity detector measures the electrical conductance of analyte ions passing through the cell. A heat exchanger inside the cell regulates temperature, supporting values between 30—60°C. For optimum performance, set the temperature to at least 7°C above the ambient temperature, and 5°C above the column oven temperature.
