Flow exiting the analytical pump head is directed to the pressure transducer (P/N 22185-60206), which measures system pressure. The pulse damper assembly is installed after the pressure transducer. Flow output from the pressure transducer continues to the pulse damper, which reduces minor pressure variations.
Pressure readings are displayed on the Inuvion ePanel in Chromeleon CDS. Monitor the readings periodically to check that the pumping system is delivering smooth, accurate flow.
The system pressure should remain consistent, with no more than a 3% difference from one pressure reading to the next. High and low-pressure limits can be used to stop the pump flow if a limit is exceeded. Set the pressure limits in Chromeleon CDS, from either the Instrument Configuration Manager or the Inuvion ePanel.
