Procedure

Using a plastic syringe, push 5 mL of deionized water through the REGEN IN port, and 3 mL of Deionized Water through the ELUENT IN port until all bubbles are removed. Plug all the ports (both REGEN and ELUENT ports).
To resume operation, connect the suppressor to the system. Allow the system to equilibrate before starting the analysis.

NOTE

If the eluent last used contained organic solvents, flush the Dionex DRS 600, Dionex ERS 500e, or Dionex AERS 500 Carbonate with deionized water for 10 minutes through both chambers before plugging the fitting ports.
