In this tutorial, you will add the single data file in the CD 3.5 Example Studies\GC\PCI\Pesticides folder to the study.

Refer to the previous Locate the example files topic for more information on locating the raw data files used in this tutorial.

Procedure

  1. On the Input File Selection page of the wizard, select Add Files.
  2. Browse to the file location where you copied the example data.
  3. Select the Pesticides_standard.raw file in the Pesticides folder and select Open.
  4. In the wizard, the file name of the selected file appear and the Next button becomes available.
  6. Select Finish to save the study and close the wizard.

  7. NOTE

    There are no study factors for this study. You are processing a single raw data file to detect and identify compounds in the sample.

    Therefore, you do not need to select Next to proceed through the New Study and Analysis wizard. This step completes the study setup.

  8. The new study opens to the tabbed Input Files page, which displays the Analysis pane to the right.

  9. NOTE

    By default, the application uses the name of the first input file as the result file name. You can edit the file name.
