Certain software, such as virus scanners and support assistance tools, can be scheduled to perform tasks when the computer is idle or has a low-level of CPU activity. This type of software can interfere with data collection. It is recommended that programs that can be scheduled in this way are either switched off or set to run manually when the computer is not collecting data.
TIP
It is useful to know if any Chromeleon queues are running when you install, update, or uninstall any Microsoft products or other third-party software. You can use the Chromeleon Activity Check to find out whether Chromeleon related systems are active.
