Certain software, such as virus scanners and support assistance tools can interfere with data collection even if scheduled to run when the computer is idle or has a low-level of CPU activity. Such scheduling should be avoided. Instead, it is recommended that the programs are either switched off or set to run manually when the computer is not collecting data.
TIPP
As another example of interference, third-party software like distributed file system tools, synchronization tools, or backup tools might disrupt Chromeleon processes that involve temporary files. To prevent any issues, exclude Chromeleon temporary files and folders (for example, temporary raw data storage *.rtmp files) from being watched or parsed by third-party software.
