Procedure

1. Open the Sequence Manager by selecting Sequence Manager on the BioPharma Finder home page.
2. Select the Host Cell Protein Database Manager tab.
3. The Host Cell Protein Database Manager page opens and displays the HCP Database table.

3. To add a database, select Add on the right side of the page.
4. The Add Host Cell Protein Database dialog box opens.

4. Select the ellipsis button (...) to the right of the Select FASTA File field.
5. Browse to the folder containing the FASTA file, select a file to import, and then select Open.
6. The Select FASTA File field is populated with the directory path of the FASTA file on your computer.
7. The name of the FASTA file is displayed in the Host Cell Protein Database Name field.

8. NOTE

   The application supports NCBI and UniProtKB database formats only.

   If the database entered contains an unsupported format, the application displays an error message.

6. Select OK.
7. The new database is added to the HCP Database table on the Host Cell Protein Database Manager page.

8. NOTE

   If you add a database with the same name as an existing database, a dialog box appears.

   To overwrite the existing database and add the new database to the application, select Yes.

   To return to the Add Host Cell Protein Database dialog box, select No.
