You can delete disulfide links from a protein sequence in the Disulfide Link Definitions pane or the Protein Sequence Map in the Protein Sequence Editor.

Remove disulfide links using the Disulfide Link Definitions pane

Procedure

  1. In the Disulfide Link Definitions pane of the Protein Sequence Editor, select the row in the table for the disulfide link that you want to delete.
  2. Select Delete.
  3. The disulfide link is removed from the protein sequence.

Remove disulfide links using the Protein Sequence Map

Procedure

  1. In the Protein Sequence Map pane of the Protein Sequence Editor, right-click a cysteine (C) with the disulfide link that you want to delete.
  2. Select Remove Link.
  3. The disulfide link is removed from the protein sequence.
