You can delete disulfide links from a protein sequence in the Disulfide Link Definitions pane or the Protein Sequence Map in the Protein Sequence Editor.
Remove disulfide links using the Disulfide Link Definitions pane
Procedure
- In the Disulfide Link Definitions pane of the Protein Sequence Editor, select the row in the table for the disulfide link that you want to delete.
- Select Delete.
- The disulfide link is removed from the protein sequence.
Remove disulfide links using the Protein Sequence Map
Procedure
- In the Protein Sequence Map pane of the Protein Sequence Editor, right-click a cysteine (C) with the disulfide link that you want to delete.
- Select Remove Link.
- The disulfide link is removed from the protein sequence.
