An oligo workbook (.wbpf file) is a list of oligonucleotides selected from the Charge State Results table of an oligonucleotide analysis experiment. You can save all or selected results to an oligo workbook for use in the Chromeleon™ chromatography data system.
In addition to experimental results, you can generate and customize theoretical oligonucleotide results that can be shared with Chromeleon™ in an oligo workbook. See Use the Oligonucleotide Calculator and Workbook to generate theoretical results.
Prerequisites
- You have loaded the experiment results are viewing the Process and Review page.
Procedure
- On the Process and Review page, select the checkbox in the row of each component in the Charge State Results table that you want to save to a workbook.
TIP
To select all of the rows, select the checkbox in the column header.
- Right-click anywhere in the Charge State Results table and select Save As Oligo Workbook from the shortcut menu.
- Select one of the following submenu commands:
- All to export all results to a workbook.
- Checked to export only the selected results to a workbook.
NOTE
The application does not support saving unidentified components or components with a "0" charge state, unspecified modifications, dimers, adducts, or any type of gas phase modifications to the workbook.
You must clear the checkboxes for these components to save the workbook.
- The Save Oligo Workbook As dialog box opens.
- See Results table commands.
- In the Save Oligo Workbook As dialog box, select one of the following options:
- Create a New Oligo Workbook
- Select an Existing Workbook
- (For the Create a New Oligo Workbook option) In the Workbook Name box, type a new name to create a new workbook or keep the same name to overwrite the workbook if it already exists.
