The second page of the processing method editing wizard is the Identification page. Use the Identification page to add or edit protein or oligonucleotide sequences for target sequence matching, define your sample as an antibody-drug conjugate (ADC) to determine the average drug-antibody ratio (DAR) values, and set the merge options for the multiconsensus result format.
Prerequisites
- For an intact mass analysis experiment, you entered an experiment name, loaded the raw data files and entered the conditions (if applicable), and selected a protein or oligonucleotide sequence (optional) on the Intact Mass Analysis page. You are editing the processing method using the wizard.
Procedure
- To open the Identification page, do one of the following:
- On the Component Detection page, select Next on the command bar.
- Select the Parameters tab on the navigation bar and then select the Identification subtab.
- The Identification page contains six sections containing editable parameters: Sequence Matching Mass Tolerance, Enable Drug-to-Antibody Ratio (Protein Only), Select a variable modification candidate for the DAR calculation, Multiconsensus Component Merge, Sequences Added to Experiment (table), and Global Sequence Reference (table).
- See Identification page tables.
- Enter the appropriate parameter values.
- See Identification page parameters.
- As needed, you can add, delete, or edit sequences using the Sequences Added to Experiment and Global Sequence Reference tables for target sequence matching experiments.
- See Sequences for target matching experiments.
- When you are finished editing the parameters on the Identification page, select Next on the command bar to advance to the Report page.
