You can run an intact mass analysis experiment in Manual or Automatic mode:
- In Manual mode, you can determine the optimal settings for selecting chromatographic peaks and deconvolving the spectrum before processing your experiment.
- After you determine the optimal settings, you can save them to a processing method which will be available for use in Automatic mode for subsequent experiments.
- See Start a new intact mass analysis experiment: Manual mode.
- In Automatic mode, the application automatically processes your experiment using the parameters in the selected processing method.
- See Start a new intact mass analysis experiment: Automatic mode.
NOTE
The Batch Processing results format and the automatic peak detection deconvolution method are not supported in Manual mode.
You must select the Multiconsensus results format and either the average over selected retention time or sliding windows deconvolution method to run an intact mass analysis in Manual mode.
