For peptide mapping analysis or oligonucleotide analysis experiments, you can create, save, and apply custom Results table filters to a file to use in future experiments.

Prerequisites

  1. You have processed a peptide mapping analysis or oligonucleotide analysis experiment and are viewing the Results table on the Process and Review page.

Procedure

  1. In the Results table on the Process and Review page, select the down arrow (˅) in the column header of the column you want to filter and select (Custom) from the filter operand list.
  2. In the Custom Filter Selection dialog box, do the following for each condition that you want to add to the filter group:
  3. Select Add Condition.
  4. Select an operator from the Operator list
  5. Select an operand from the Operand list or type a specific text string or number.
  6. See Table filter operators and Table filter operands.
  7. By default, the application applies the AND operator to all of the conditions in the group.

  9. Select the space by the arrow icon (>) to the left of each condition row to select the row.
  10. TIP

    You can select contiguous rows by using the SHIFT key or noncontiguous rows using the CTRL key.

  11. To change from applying the AND operator for the group to applying the OR operator, and vice versa, select Toggle.
  12. A gray bar to the left of the condition rows indicates an AND group. This custom filter passes only if all of the conditions in the group pass.
  13. A blue bar to the left of the condition rows indicates an OR group. This custom filter passes if any of the conditions in the group passes.
  14. Select OK.
  15. The application applies the custom filter to the data in the selected filter column.
  16. Repeat this process to add additional column filters.
