You can zoom in/out on, reset, and copy the spectra in the application.
Zoom in or zoom out
Procedure
- To zoom in on a spectrum, do either of the following:
- In the spectrum pane, drag the red cross-shaped cursor over the peak or peaks of interest to form a box.
- In the spectrum pane, hold down the left mouse button and draw a line beneath the baseline of the peaks of interest.
- When you zoom in on a region of the spectrum, the application recalculates the values on the y axis so that 100 percent represents the highest intensity in the displayed region. The intensities shown on the y axis remain at values relative to the most intense component in the plot.
- To zoom out on a spectrum, right-click the spectrum pane and select Zoom Out (if available). Otherwise, reset the spectrum view to the original scale zoom out (see below).
Reset spectrum view to original scale

Copy spectrum to the clipboard
Procedure
- To copy a spectrum to the clipboard, right-click the spectrum pane and select Copy, Copy as Displayed, or Copy per Global Settings.
- The application copies the entire view of the spectrum pane to the clipboard, including all visible labeling and shading. You can then paste the copied picture into a third-party application file.
- See Copy and paste functions.
