When the BioPharma Finder application is locked (manually or due to inactivity), the Login dialog box appears and displays the last logged-in username. If the last logged-in user is not available, you can still log in if you have the proper administrative permissions.

Procedure

  1. In the Login dialog box, select the Last logged-in user not available? link.
  2. Enter your username and then select Authenticate.
  3. Enter your password and then select Sign in.
  4. (Optional) If you have multiple roles associated with your user account, select a role from the dropdown list and then select Next.
  5. NOTE

If you select a role without the appropriate privileges to unlock the application, the BioPharma Finder application responds with the following message:

"You do not have permission to unlock the application. Please contact your administrator."

When you select OK, the application returns to the Login dialog box, which displays the last logged-in username.

  6. After you successfully log in, the application responds with the following message: "Application restart required. Any unsaved work will be lost, the processing queue will be paused, and in-progress activities will be aborted."
  7. Do one of the following:
  8. Select OK. The application restarts and opens to the Login dialog box where any user with access can now log in.
  9. Select Cancel. The application remains locked and returns to the Login dialog box displaying the last logged-in username.
