The Ardia Platform Data Sync application contains the Data Sync tab, the Queue tab, the Finished tab, a Help icon, and a Settings icon.

  • The Data Sync page lets you select which Ardia Repository and local PC folders you want to pair, as well as the type of data transfer.
  • The Queue page contains a list of sync jobs that are currently in progress or pending.
  • The Finished page contains a list of all completed and failed file syncs.
  • The Settings page lets you reset the application, view the connected Ardia Platform URL, and set the scan preferences of the sync.
  • The following figures show these pages.

Stop an in-progress sync

The following table describes the status values that display on the Queue page.

Status

Description

Queued

The file sync is planned but has not started.

Syncing

The file is actively being synced.

Re-Queued

A previous sync attempt failed and will be restarted later. This might happen for the following reasons:

  • The network went down during a sync.
  • You stopped an ongoing sync.

Start the sync

Status

Description

Finished

The sync was successful.

Error

The sync has failed. This might happen for the following reasons:

  • The file was deleted from the Ardia Repository before the sync could be completed.
  • You do not have permission to sync the file.
  • A file with the same name exists.
  • The file failed the Malicious Content Detection Scan. For more information, see Resolve the Malicious Content Detection Scan error.

You can select a failed sync to display its summary, which includes a status message that explains the error.

Canceled

The sync was canceled from the Queue page.
