You can upgrade the installed Ardia Platform Data Sync application to a newer version using the Ardia Platform Data Sync Setup.

IMPORTANT

Thermo Fisher Scientific recommends upgrading to the Ardia Core software version 1.1 before upgrading your Ardia Platform Data Sync application. For more information, see Compatibility with the Ardia Platform.

To ensure a successful upgrade, you must stop any ongoing sync processes before upgrading the Ardia Platform Data Sync application to a newer version.

Procedure

  1. Download the Thermo Scientific Ardia Platform Data Sync Setup installer to your PC.

  2. NOTE

    The Ardia Platform Data Sync installer can be downloaded from the Thermo Fisher Scientific Digital Science Support (DSS) Resource Center.

  3. Right-click the Thermo_Scientific_Ardia_Platform_Data_Sync.exe file and select Run as Administrator to open the setup wizard.
  4. If prompted, select Yes to allow the application to make changes to your instrument PC.
  5. The Thermo Scientific Ardia Platform Data Sync Setup opens.
  6. Review the license agreement and then select the I Agree to the License Terms and Conditions checkbox.
  7. Select Next.
  8. Review the system requirements, then select Upgrade.
  9. The setup displays the upgrade progress and a confirmation message upon completion.
  10. (Optional) When the upgrade is complete, you can do the following in the setup:
  11. Select IQ Report to view the installation qualification (IQ) report.
  12. Select Log to view the setup summary log file.
  13. Select Open IQ Reports Folder to open the system folder containing the IQ report and log PDF files.

  14. NOTE

    The installation files, program data, application startup executable, IQ reports are saved to C:\Program Files\Thermo Scientific\Ardia\ADS.

    Logs are saved to C:\ProgramData\Thermo Scientific\Ardia\ADS.

  15. Select Close to exit the setup.
  16. The Ardia Platform Data Sync application upgrade is complete.
