Before you can use the Ardia Platform Data Sync application, you must register it on the Ardia Platform. The first time you open the application, the Ardia Platform Data Sync Registration dialog box automatically opens.

NOTE

You need administrative privileges on the Ardia Platform website to register the Ardia Platform Data Sync application. If you do not have the appropriate permissions, contact your organization's administrator.

Procedure

  1. Open the Ardia Platform Data Sync application.
  2. The Ardia Platform Data Sync Registration dialog box opens if you have not previously registered the application.

  3. NOTE

    If the Ardia Platform Data Sync Registration dialog box does not open automatically, select Settings > Launch Registration.

  4. In the Ardia Platform Data Sync Registration dialog box, enter your Ardia Platform URL into the text box and select Continue.
  6. A new tab opens in your browser to sign in to the Ardia Platform.
  7. Sign in to the Ardia Platform as follows:
  8. Enter your username, then select Continue.
  9. Enter your password, then select Sign In.
  10. If prompted, select an option from the Select Role dropdown list, then select Next.
  11. A new tab opens in your browser with a confirmation message for a successful authorization of the device.
  12. The Ardia Platform Data Sync Registration dialog box updates with a registration successful message.
  13. In the Ardia Platform Data Sync Registration dialog box, select Restart.
  14. The Ardia Platform Data Sync Registration dialog box closes.
  15. The Ardia Platform Data Sync Login dialog box opens with a logged out message.
  16. In the Ardia Platform Data Sync Login dialog box, select Open Browser to Log In.
  17. A new tab opens in your browser indicating that you are logged in.
  18. The Ardia Platform Data Sync Login dialog box updates to indicate you are logged in.

  19. NOTE

    When you register the Ardia Platform Data Sync application, the Ardia Platform generates audit entries that can be viewed in the Audit Trail Viewer application on the Ardia Platform.

  20. Select Continue to start the application.
  21. The Ardia Platform Data Sync application opens.
