Connect the Ardia Confuguration Utility to the Ardia Server
You must connect to the Ardia Server before performing NFS configuration or upgrade operations.
Procedure

On a Windows client, double-click the
ArdiaConfigurationUtility.exeor right-click the file and select Open.The Ardia Configuration Utility Window opens, and the Console tab is displayed.
The following options are available:

Connect - Enabled only when the Ardia Configuration Utility is not connected to the Ardia Server. Opens the Connect to server dialog box.

Disconnect - Enabled only when a connection exists. Terminates the connection with the Ardia Server

Select Connect.
The Connect to Server dialog box opens.

In the Connect to Server dialog box, enter the following fields:

Host - Enter the Internet Protocol (IP) address or the host name.

Port - Enter port
22, unless configured differently within your organization.22is the typical port number for SSH (Secure Shell) -
User Name - Enter
tfs-admin(the default administrative user for the Ardia Server). -
Password - Enter the password for the tfs-admin account.
Note: In version 1.0.0, the default password for the tfs-admin user was:
#TFSAdmin!.

Select Connect.
The connection to the Ardia Server is established. The Console becomes active where you can view actions and activities resulting from operations performed while using th Ardia Configuration Utility.

(Optional) Select the terminal icon to open PuTTY, which is a free and open-source terminal emulator that allows you to connect to remote computers using SSH and other protocols. The following common tasks can be performed:

Managing the server

Running commands remotely
-
Accessing network devices
Note: PuTTY is stored as a temporary file in user’s local application data folder %localappdata%\Temp\ArdiaConfigurationUtility.

- After connecting, proceed with either configuration of NFS backup and archive or upgrade of the Ardia Core Software.
