Configure global settings for the Instruments application
Use the Global Settings utility to define the Ardia Instruments application settings.
Prerequisites

Your role must have the required Ardia Core permission to open the Global Settings utility. For more information, refer to "Edit Ardia Core privileges for a role" in the Ardia Core User Guide.
Procedure
- Do one of the following:

On the Home page, select the Instruments card under Core Applications.

In the left pane of the Ardia workspace (if pinned), select Instruments.
Note: To open an application from the left pane, you must first pin it to the left pane. For more information, refer to "Pin an application to the left pane from the Home page" in the Ardia Core Software User Guide.

- Select the Instruments tab.
The Modify Instruments Application Settings page opens, which displays the Scheduler settings.
- Select the options for all required settings parameters.
For more information on the parameters, see Instruments application settings parameters.
- Select Save.
Note: To avoid losing any unsaved changes, save all changes before you navigate away from the Global Settings page.
The Add a Comment dialog box opens.
Note: The Add a Comment dialog box opens only if the Prompt for Comments When Saving toggle is turned on in the Global Settings (according to the audit policy in your organization). Refer to "Configure global settings for the Ardia Platform." The comment that you enter is added to the Comment column of the Audit Trail Viewer. Refer to "Open the Audit Trail Viewer." - Enter your comment and select Save.
A message appears confirming the successful update.
