Group instruments

Use the Group By option on the Scheduler page to group the instruments displayed in the Instrument pane. You can further refine this organization by combining it with the Sort By and Filter By parameters.

Procedure

  1. Open the Scheduler.
  2. Select Filters.
    The Filter options open.
  3. Select the Group By dropdown lst, and then select one or more of the following options:

    • Instrument type

    • Location

    • Room Number

    • Owner Name

    • Project Name

    • Assignee

    • Status

      The instruments can have the one of the following statuses: Running, Paused, Connection Lost, None, Disconnected, or Unknown. The Unknown status applies to all manually created instruments. Each status header is displayed as a dropdown list, with instruments alphabetically sorted within the category.

    The Instrument pane displays the list of grouped instruments.

  4. (Optional) To stop grouping instruments based on your selection, select the Group By dropdown list and then select Clear Selection.
