When you launch the Data Viewer application for the first time, it opens with the home page displaying the File menu. Use the File menu to open injections or raw data files, to access help, and to display the application's version information.
The following table shows the menu bar and the commands to modify the Chromatogram view or the Spectrum view.

Open | Opens the Data Explorer window, where you can browse the data file from the Ardia repository (see Open injections or raw data files). |
Help | Opens the Data Viewer user guide. NOTE Depending on your browser settings, the application downloads a PDF file to your computer or opens a new tab with the user guide. |
About | Opens the Data Viewer version information with the application name, build version, and build date. |
Views | |
Ranges | Opens the Ranges dialog box (see Modify Chromatogram view). |
Processing | |
Average spectra | Opens to average the mass spectra (see Average a spectrum). |
Zoom Range | Opens to zoom in the Chromatogram view (see Zoom in using the Zoom Range option). |
Display | |
Labels | Opens tools area to annotate the chromatogram peaks (see Display the Peak Detection page). |
