Procedure

1. Open an injection or a raw data file.
2. Select the Chromatogram view.
3. Select the Processing tab to display the Processing Options for Chromatogram view.

4. Select Average Spectrum to make the average spectrum options available.
5. The cursor changes to the averaging cursor, .
5. Follow any one of the procedures:
1. Manually entering RT range and scan range (see Enter the RT range or scan range)
2. Create RT range using the cursor (see Select the RT range using the cursor)
3. Entering RT range an scan range in the dialog box (see Edit the averaging range from the dialog box)
