You can manually enter the RT range and the scan range for a chromatogram in the Processing toolbar.
Procedure
- Select the Processing tab to display the Processing Options for Chromatogram view.
- In the average spectrum options, select either the Scan Range option or the RT Range option.
- Depending on the option you chose in step 2, enter either the RT range or the scan range that you want to use to average the spectrum as follows:
- For RT range, use this format: RTstart–RTend (for example, 1.050–2.227)
- For Scan range, use this format: Scan#start–Scan#end (for example, 238–500)
- Press ENTER.
- A red line in the Chromatogram view marks the selected range, and the spectrum plot is updated with the averaged scan data.
The following figure shows the averaged spectrum. The Chromatogram view shows the RT range marker. The Spectrum view shows the average spectrum for the time range 0.86–1.81.
