You can zoom in and reset a Spectrum view using the mouse pointer. The application updates the NL value in the header as you zoom in to  different m/z regions. The zoom state is retained as you navigate to different scans.

Procedure

  1. Select the Spectrum view.
  2. Do any of the following:
  3. To zoom in on the x axis, position the mouse pointer at a point on the axis, select and drag horizontally across the range of m/z values you want to see zoomed in, and then release the mouse.
  4. A horizontal scrollbar appears below the x axis of the Spectrum view when you zoom in. The application updates the NL value based on the peaks that are located in the region of the chromatogram that you zoomed in on.
  5. To zoom in on the y axis, position the mouse pointer at a point on the axis, select and drag vertically across the range of Relative Abundance values you want to see zoomed in, and then release the mouse.
  6. To zoom in on both the x and y axes, select and drag the mouse to form a box containing the region that you want to see zoomed in, and then release the mouse.
  7. (Optional)To return to the default scale, select Reset Zoom .
