You can add multiple chromatogram traces to the Chromatogram view from the Ranges dialog box. When you add multiple traces to a Chromatogram view, the traces are stacked.

Procedure

  1. Do one of the following:
  2. In the workspace, turn on the Info Bar toggle .
  3. Select View > Ranges > Chromatogram ranges.
  4. In the Ranges dialog box, select Add Trace.
  5. The application adds a row with a copy of the currently selected row in the list. Each row in the Ranges dialog box defines one trace in the selected Chromatogram view.
  6. NOTE

    When the maximum number of added traces is reached (50), the Add Trace button in the Ranges dialog box becomes disabled.

  7. For each trace that you want to display in the Chromatogram view, select Display Trace Visibility and then select Apply to add the selected trace to the active chromatogram.
  8. Chromatogram traces appear in the Chromatogram view.
  9. NOTE

    To undo all changes made to this page and to revert to the previously applied changes, select . The Undo button is active only after applying the changes in the Ranges dialog box.

  10. (Optional) Close the Ranges dialog box as follows:
  11. Select Cancel or .
  12. At the prompt that opens, do one of the following:
  13. Select Confirm to save your changes and close the dialog box.
  14. Select Cancel to close the dialog box without saving your changes.
