In the Global Settings application, you can define the Instruments application settings.

Prerequisites

  1. Your role must have the required Ardia Core permission to open Global Settings application. For more information, refer to "Edit Ardia Core privileges for a role" in the Ardia Core User Guide.

Procedure

  1. Select the Instruments tab.
  2. The Set Instrument Management Settings page opens, where you can configure the Scheduler settings.
  3. Select the options for all required settings parameters. For more information on the parameters, see Instruments application settings parameters.
  4. Select Save.
  5. The Add a Comment dialog box appears.
  6. Enter your comment and select Save.
  7. NOTE

    The Add a Comment dialog box only appears if the Prompt for Comments when Saving toggle is turned on in the Global Settings (according to the audit policy in your organization). Refer to "Configure global settings for the Ardia platform" in the Ardia Core User Guide.
    The comment that you enter is added to the Comment column of the Audit Trail Viewer. Refer to "Open the Audit Trail Viewer" in the Ardia Core User Guide.

  8. A message appears confirming the successful update.
