With the Audit Trail Viewer application, you can view a log of user activity within the Ardia platform. The log is displayed as a table with the following columns: Timestamp, Object Type, Object Name, Application, Action, Username, Role, Comment, Path, and Additional Info.

The following table defines the columns that appear in the Audit Trail Viewer application.

Description

Timestamp

Specifies the time at which an audited event occurred.
NOTE Timestamps are always saved in Coordinated Universal Time (UTC) format and are displayed in the local time and date format of the browser location (US: mm/dd/yyyy, hh:mm:ss AM/PM; Europe: dd/mm/yyyy, hh:mm:ss).

Object Type

Specifies the type of object that triggered the audit record. Examples: Authenticated User Session, Folder, Injection, Sequence, Raw File, and so on.

Object Name

Specifies the name of the object that triggered the audit record.

Application

Specifies the name of the application or service in which the audit event occurred.

Action

Specifies the type of activity that was performed and recorded in the audit log.

Username

Specifies the name of the user who performed the audited event.

Role

Specifies the role that the user was assigned to at the time the audited event was performed.

Comment

Specifies user-added comments (if the Prompt for Comments When Saving toggle is turned on in the Global Settings application and the user has provided a comment).

Path

Specifies the Ardia Repository file path of the object that triggered the audit record.

Additional Info

Captures any system-generated additional information, if available.
