Under Manage and Configure Identity Providers, you can remove identity providers.

Prerequisites

  1. Your role must have the required Ardia Core permission to manage identity providers. For more information, see Edit Ardia Core privileges for a role.

Procedure

  1. Open the IdP Configuration page.
  2. On the identity provider widget that you want to remove from your configuration, select Remove.
  3. The Remove Identity Provider dialog box opens.
  4. NOTE

    If the Remove button is disabled, either of the following might be the cause:

    • You do not have permission to remove the identity provider.
    • You cannot remove an IdP that has assigned users.
  5. To permanently remove the identity provider from your list of configured providers, select Remove.
  6. The Add a Comment dialog box appears.
  7. Enter your comment and select Save.
  8. NOTE

    The Add a Comment dialog box appears only if the Prompt for Comments When Saving toggle is turned on in the Global Settings (according to the audit policy in your organization). See Configure global settings for the Ardia platform.
    The comment that you enter is added to the Comment column of the Audit Trail Viewer. See Open the Audit Trail Viewer.

  9. The application immediately removes the identity provider widget.
