Prerequisites

  1. You must register the Ardia Core Software on the Meta for Developers website.

Procedure

  1. Sign in to the Ardia Platform.
  2. Open the IdP Configuration page.
  3. In the Add New IdP widget, select Facebook from the Select IdP list.
  4. Select Add.
  5. Under Configure New Identity Provider, enter a display name for the IdP (for example, facebook).
  6. The Authentication Scheme parameter and the CallbackPath parameter are automatically filled based on the text that you enter as the display name for the IdP.
  7. Enter the authorization URL.
  8. Example: https://www.facebook.com/v10.0/dialog/oauth
  9. Enter the App ID and App Secret values that you obtained from the Meta for Developers website (see Register the Ardia Core Software in the Meta for Developers website) into the Client ID and Client Secret boxes, respectively, on the IdP Configuration page.
  10. (Optional) Enter scopes values and email domains.
  11. Select code, token, and id_token as the response types.
  12. For more information on the values to be filled in, see Parameters for configuring a new IdP.
  13. NOTE

Do not navigate away from this page until you have registered your IdP parameters. The system does not automatically save your parameter values.

  14. Select Register.
  15. The Add a Comment dialog box opens.
  16. Enter your comment and select Save.
  17. NOTE

The Add a Comment dialog box opens only if the Prompt for Comments When Saving toggle is turned on in the Global Settings (according to the audit policy in your organization). See Configure global settings for the Ardia Platform.

The comment that you enter is added to the Comment column of the Audit Trail Viewer. See Open the Audit Trail Viewer.

  18. Test the connection to ensure your integration is working as expected.
