You can deactivate a license using an Ardia Server that does not have an internet connection.
Prerequisites
- You must have access to one additional device that has an internet connection and can scan a QR code.
Procedure
- Open the License Management utility.
- The License Management page opens.
- From the license table, select the license that you want to deactivate and then select Deactivate.
- The Add a Comment dialog box opens.
NOTE
The Add a Comment dialog box opens only if the Prompt for Comments When Saving toggle is turned on in the Global Settings (according to the audit policy in your organization). See Configure global settings for the Ardia Platform.
The comment that you enter is added to the Comment column of the Audit Trail Viewer. See Open the Audit Trail Viewer.- Provide a reason for deactivating the license and then select Save.
- The Manually Dectivate this License dialog box opens. This dialog box displays the License Request Code (LRC) and the detailed instructions to deactivate the license on Thermo Fisher's Licensing Portal. To know more about the LRC, refer to License Management basics.

- After you successfully deactivate the license, select Yes, I have Deactivated it.
- The license is deactivated and removed from the license table.
