You can activate a license using an Ardia Server that does not have an internet connection.

Prerequisites

  1. You must have access to one additional device that has an internet connection and can scan a QR code.

Procedure

  1. Open the License Management utility.
  2. The License Management page opens.
  3. From the license table, select the license that you want to activate and then select Activate.
  4. The Add a Comment dialog box opens.
  5. NOTE

    The Add a Comment dialog box opens only if the Prompt for Comments When Saving toggle is turned on in the Global Settings (according to the audit policy in your organization). See Configure global settings for the Ardia Platform.

    The comment that you enter is added to the Comment column of the Audit Trail Viewer. See Open the Audit Trail Viewer.

  6. Provide a reason for activating the license and then select Save.
  7. The Manually Activate Your License dialog box opens. This dialog box displays the License Request Code (LRC) and the detailed instructions to obtain the License Activation Code (LAC). To know more about the LRC and LAC, see License Management basics.

  9. Follow the steps to obtain the LAC.
  10. Enter the LAC in the License Activation Code (LAC) box.
  11. Select Activate License.
  12. The license is activated. The license details are updated on the license table, where its status is displayed as Active.
