You can activate a license using an Ardia Server that has an internet connection.

Procedure

  1. Open the License Management utility.
  2. The License Management page opens.
  3. From the license table, select the license that you want to activate and then select Activate.
  4. The Activate Your License dialog box opens.
    The Activate Your License dialog box displays the LIC of the selected licenses.
  5. Review the LIC of the selected license and, if you want to proceed with the activation, select Activate License Now.
  6. The Add a Comment dialog box opens.
  7. Provide a reason for activating the license and then select Save.
  8. NOTE

    The Add a Comment dialog box opens only if the Prompt for Comments When Saving toggle is turned on in the Global Settings (according to the audit policy in your organization). See Configure global settings for the Ardia Platform.

    The comment that you enter is added to the Comment column of the Audit Trail Viewer. See Open the Audit Trail Viewer.

  9. The License Activation Information dialog box opens.

  11. NOTE

    The Name and Email fields are auto-populated based on the data of the logged in user.

  12. In the License Activation Information dialog box, do the following:
  13. From the Country dropdown list, select your country.
  14. In the Company field, enter the name of your organization.
  15. (Optional) In the Phone field, enter your phone number.
  16. (Optional) Select the checkbox to receive marketing and promotional messages.
  17. Select Activate License.
  18. The license is activated. The license details are updated on the license table, where its status is displayed as Active.
