If you want to reassign a license to another system, you must deactivate the license. Also, you can deactivate licenses that you no longer want to use. You can use the License Management page to deactivate an active license.

Before you deactivate a license, you must ensure the following:

• Your role must have the required Ardia Core permission to open the License Management utility. For more information, see Edit Ardia Core privileges for a role.
• The license that you wish to deactivate must be in the Active state. To know more about the different license statuses, see License Management parameters.
• You can only select one license at a time for deactivation. If you select more than one license, the Deactivate option is automatically disabled.

You can deactivate a license with or without an internet connection. See one of these procedures depending on your internet connection status:
