From the Data Explorer application, you can open the audit trail of an item directly in the Ardia Audit Trail Viewer application.

Prerequisites

  1. Your role must have the required Ardia Core permission to open the Data Explorer and the Audit Trail Viewer applications. For more information, see Edit Ardia Core privileges for a role.
  2. You must have the Can View permission (or a higher permission) for the folder containing the item. For more information, see Manage folder access.

Procedure

  1. Open the Data Explorer application.
  2. Navigate to the folder or the sequence that contains the item whose audit trail you want to open.
  3. In the content area, do one of the following:
  4. Select the item and then select View Audit Trail on the command bar.

  5. NOTE

    If the View Audit Trail command is unavailable, select on the command bar to access the hidden commands.

  6. Select on the item's row and then select View Audit Trail.
  7. Right-click the item's row and then select View Audit Trail.

Result

  1. The Audit Trail Viewer application opens in a new tab and displays the audit trail of the selected item.
