In the Global Settings utility, you can select from a list of predefined file types. This selection determines the file types that are permitted for upload to the Ardia Repository.

Procedure

  1. Open the Global Settings utility.
  2. Select the Ardia Core tab.
  3. The Ardia Core page opens.
  4. Under File Management, select Modify next to Allowed File Extensions (n).
  5. NOTE

    The Modify button is available only if the Restrict Upload of Files to the Server to Known File Extensions toggle is turned on.

  6. The File Management dialog box opens. The files here are organized under categories such as Ardia Platform, BioPharma Finder, Chromeleon CDS, Compound Discoverer, and so on. For more information on the file types, see Ardia Repository file types.
  7. Select the checkbox next to each of the file types that you want to permit for uploading to the Ardia Repository.
  8. NOTE

    The checkboxes for certain files that are integral to the Ardia Platform are selected by default and cannot be cleared.

  9. Select Apply.
  10. Select Save.
  11. The Add a Comment dialog box opens.
  12. Enter your comment and select Save.
  13. NOTE

    The Add a Comment dialog box opens only if the Prompt for Comments When Saving toggle is turned on in the Global Settings (according to the audit policy in your organization). See Configure global settings for the Ardia Platform.

    The comment that you enter is added to the Comment column of the Audit Trail Viewer. See Open the Audit Trail Viewer.

  14. A message appears confirming the successful update.
