In the Data Explorer application, you can revert a file to a previous version.

Prerequisites

  1. Your role must have the required Ardia Core permissions to revert a file to a previous version in the Data Explorer application. For more information, see Edit Ardia Core privileges for a role.
  2. You must have the Can Edit permission (or a higher permission) for the folder to revert a file in it to a previous version. For more information, see Manage folder access.

Procedure

  1. Open the Data Explorer application.
  2. Navigate to the folder that contains the file that you want to revert to a previous version.
  3. Open the Versions pane.
  4. In the Versions pane, select the checkbox of the version to which you want to revert the file.
  5. The Revert command becomes available on the Versions pane command bar.

  6. NOTE

    If you select more than one version or the current version, the Revert command is unavailable.

  8. Select the Revert command.
  9. The content of the file is restored to how it was in the selected version.
  10. In the Versions pane, a new version is added with a date-time stamp and it is set as the Current version.
