In the Data Explorer application, you can view the versions of a file. Folders and sequences do not have versions.
Prerequisites
- Your role must have the required Ardia Core permission to view versions in the Data Explorer application. For more information, see Edit Ardia Core privileges for a role.
- You must have the Can View permission (or a higher permission) for the folder to view the versions of its contents. For more information, see Manage folder access.
Procedure
- Open the Data Explorer application.
- Navigate to the folder that contains the file whose versions you want to view.
- In the content area, do one of the following:
- Select the file's version number in the Version column.
- Select the file's row and then select View Versions on the command bar.
- Select
on the file's row and then select View Versions.
- Right-click the file's row and then select View Versions.
NOTE
You can only view the versions of one file at a time. If you select more than one file, the View Versions command is unavailable.

TIP
Drag the top edge of the Versions pane up or down to increase or decrease its height.
- (Optional) Select the row of another file for which you want to view the version details.
- The Versions pane refreshes and displays the version details of the newly selected file.
- If you select multiple files or file with only one version, the Versions pane prompts you to select a single file that has more than one version.
- (Optional) To close the Versions pane, select
in the upper-right corner of the pane.
