From the Data Explorer application, you can open .pdf, .jpeg, .png and .svg files in a new browser tab.

Prerequisites

  1. Your role must have the required Ardia Core permission to open the Data Explorer application. For more information, see Edit Ardia Core privileges for a role.
  2. You must have the Can View permission (or a higher permission) for the folder containing the files you want to open. For more information, see Manage folder access.

Procedure

  1. Open the Data Explorer application.
  2. Navigate to the folder that contains the file that you want to open.
  3. In the content area, do one of the following:
  4. Select the name of the file.
  5. Double-click the file row.
  6. Select on the file row and then select Open.
  7. Right-click the file row and then select Open.
  8. Select the checkboxes of one or more files and then select Open on the command bar.

  9. TIP

    To select consecutive files, press and hold the SHIFT key and select the first row and the last row of the files that you want to select.

    To select non-consecutive files, press and hold the CTRL key and select each row.

    To select all the files in the folder, select the checkbox next to the Name column heading.

  10. NOTE

    You can open a maximum of 15 files simultaneously. If you select more that 15 files, the Open command is unavailable.

  11. NOTE

    You can open an file only if it has the Live status or the Live Archive Incomplete status.

Result

  1. Each selected file opens in a separate browser tab.
