The following table defines the platform settings parameters that are available on the Ardia Core page of the Global Settings utility.

Table Ardia Core settings parameters

Parameter

Description

SSO

Enable Timeout Sessions for Logout

Specifies whether SSO sessions time out.
Default state: Off

Timeout Session for Logout

Sets the duration of SSO sessions (in minutes) before a user is automatically logged out due to inactivity. The timer resets if there is any activity.
Default: 10 min
Permitted range: 10 to 50,000 min

NOTE: This parameter is visible only if the Enable Timeout Sessions for Logout toggle is turned on .

NOTE: This setting applies to all users of the application.

Raw Data

Enable Background Raw Data Verification

Enables or disables the verification of existing raw data files.

When this toggle is enabled, the system verifies the integrity of all existing raw data files. This means that the system checks if any raw data file has changed between the time of its acquisition and the time of its verification.

If any files fail the verification, the Upload Status column in the Ardia Repository displays the icon, which indicates a failure. For more information, see Raw data file verification.

NOTE: Pointing to this icon displays a tooltip about the verification failure.

Period Before Next Verification

Sets a verification frequency between 30 and 365 days for all existing raw data.
Default: 90 days

NOTE: This parameter is available only if the Enable Background Raw Data Verification toggle is turned on.

File Management

Restrict Upload of Files to the Server to Known File Extensions

Enables or disables a restriction on uploading certain file types to the Ardia Repository. When this option is enabled, only files with recognized extensions can be uploaded. This can help prevent the upload of potentially unsafe or incompatible files.

Allowed File Extensions (n)

Specifies the file extensions that are permitted to be uploaded. The variable n corresponds to the count of approved extensions. Selecting the Modify button opens the File Management dialog box, where you can manage the approved extension list and create custom file types.

NOTE: This parameter is visible only if the Restrict Upload of Files to the Server to Known File Extensions toggle is turned on.

Block Upload of Executables and Scripts

Enables or disables the ability to upload executable files and scripts to the server. When this option is enabled, the upload of executable files and scripts is blocked to maintain server security.
