Prerequisites

1. Your role must have the required Ardia Core permission to open the Data Explorer application. For more information, see Edit Ardia Core privileges for a role.

Procedure

1. Open the Data Explorer application.
2. To search for an item, enter its name in the search box.
3. As you type in the search box, a quick view pane expands and displays a maximum of five relevant items.

4. NOTE

   The quick view pane lists items only from the current folder and does not include items from the subfolders.

3. Do one of the following:
1. Select an item from the quick view pane.
2. If you select a folder or a sequence, the content area displays the contents of the selected item.
3. If you select any other file type, the content area displays the item with its checkbox selected.
1. Select See More Results or press ENTER.
2. The Data Explorer displays the search results in the content area.

3. NOTE

   The search results in the content area include items from the current folder and its subfolders.

4. In the search results, the names of the folders, sequences, and items that you can directly open from the Data Explorer application are displayed in blue text.
