The left pane in the Ardia workspace provides quick access to applications across the Ardia platform. Users can pin their desired applications to the left pane for easy access from any Ardia page. The pane can be collapsed to increase the viewing area on an Ardia page while still providing access to pinned applications.
When users sign in to the Ardia Platform for the first time, the Home page and core applications, such as Data Explorer, Data Viewer, and Instruments, are pinned to the expanded left pane by default.
The functions described in the following table are available for managing the left pane.

Unpin | Removes an existing application shortcut from the left pane. The Home shortcut cannot be unpinned from the left pane. |
Open in New Tab | Opens a selected app in a new browser tab. This allows users to work with multiple applications across different workspaces. |
Reorder | Drags a selected application up or down in the left panel to rearrange the order of applications. |
