The mass of the instrument is with packaging and without reagents. Fully loaded instrument is approximately 85 kg or 187 lbs.
Ensure you meet the following space and load requirements:
- Have a space of at least 9 cm (3.5 in) in front of the instrument as the instrument door opens to the front.
- Have at least 15 cm (6 in) of clearance behind the instrument.
- Have at least 92 cm (3 ft) of clearance above the instrument.
- Ensure the laboratory table can support the AccelerOme instrument. Remember that additional components loaded within the instrument add to the total weight.
- Ensure that your work area is free of vibration from the nearby equipments.
- Ensure you have sufficient ventilation in your work area.
- Ensure a minimum floor space of 120 x 105 cm with a height of at least 100 cm.
- Ensure a minimum distance of 40 cm to the wall on the left side of the instrument so that the door to the solution compartment can be opened completely.
- Ensure a minimum distance of approximately 15 cm to the right, back and top of the instrument to guarantee sufficient air circulation for the exhaust air and to avoid any heat buildup.
