An install qualification test verifies if all the consumables are properly installed in the instrument.

Prime the lines before running an install qualification test.

Steps

  1. On the home screen, tap the Settings icon (gear), tap Service Tools, and then tap Qualification Test.
  2. Ensure the system is ready to run the installation test and then tap Run Test.
  3. Move through the guided setup steps (stated below) by tapping Next and at the end of the guided setup, tap Start.
  • Ensure that each needle wash bottle (W1 and W2) contains at least 250 mL of each solution.
  • Load the reagent module in position B1.
  • Load the output plate in position A.
  • The system displays the status information while it performs the procedure.
  • The system runs the deck validation process before running the install qualification test.
  • Follow the run progress on the home screen.
  • Tap Cancel to abort the IQ test run.
  • (Optional) Tap View Results to view the run results. The results can be exported to a USB drive.
  • Tap Unload Instrument.
  • Remove all instrument content and tap Done.

    Clear any alarms and alerts after the run by resolving and acknowledging them.
