There are four foam parts that line the instrument interior for protection during transport. The foam parts hold the instrument interior parts and the box containing the accessories securely in place. To move or ship the instrument back, repackage it using the original packaging materials, shipment box, and the foam parts.
Steps
- Insert the base foam part into the instrument and attach the ceiling foam part.
- Insert the foam part that secures the robot arm.
- Insert the foam part placed along the solution compartment, in the instrument interior.
- Insert the cardboard box containing the accessories into the instrument interior.
- Close the door and secure it with adhesive tape.
- Secure the PAL terminal in the service compartment with a piece of foam to prevent it from slipping during transport.
- Close the door of the service compartment and secure it with adhesive tape.
- Insert the solution line connectors in the solution compartment into the foam tubes provided and clamp them into the larger foam cuboids.
- Close the door of the solution compartment and secure it with adhesive tape.
- Place the pallet with the base foam moldings affixed, on the floor, close to the instrument.
- Lift the instrument carefully and place it on the pallet. A multi-person lift is required. Use the 4 recessed grips on the bottom of the instrument to lift it safely. The cutout for the instrument in the base foam molding shows where the front of the instrument must face. Make sure not to pinch the waste line. The instrument must be placed completely in the inner foam frame.
