The robot arm holds the dilutor tool, and moves it along the X, Y, and Z axes to the required positions to execute procedures for sample preparation.

You can move the robot arm manually, for example, for teaching the modules on the instrument or for tool replacement. Do not apply excessive force when moving the robot arm. If the arm is hard to move, it is most likely due to dirt contamination.

The section of the robot arm holding the tool is designed for easy tool installation and replacement and for precise tool positioning. If the tool position is not accurate, perform the teaching procedure described in this document.

The instrument automatically tracks the robot arm movements. Thus, the arm and tool position is always known. So, the robot arm can resume performing automated sample preparation procedures by moving to the correct location from any location within the instrument.
