Be careful of the following restrictions while using the AccelerOme system:
- The AccelerOme instrument is a general lab equipment. So all GLE disclaimers apply.
- The AccelerOme system, like all Thermo Scientific and CTC Analytics products, must only be used exactly in the manner described in this document.
- The AccelerOme system is not designed to run biohazardous samples.
- The AccelerOme instrument is only compatible with the following kits:

- Label-Free MS Sample Preparation Kit, 36 Reactions
- TMT11plex MS Sample Preparation and Labeling Kit (10-30 µg), 3 x 11 Reactions
- TMT11plex MS Sample Preparation and Labeling Kit (30-100 µg), 1 x 11 Reactions
- TMT11plex MS Sample Preparation and Labeling Kit (30-100 µg), 3 x 11 Reactions
- TMTpro 16plex MS Sample Preparation and Labeling Kit (10-30 µg), 2 x 16 Reactions
- TMTpro 16plex MS Sample Preparation and Labeling Kit (30-100 µg), 1 x 16 Reactions
- TMTpro 16plex MS Sample Preparation and Labeling Kit (30-100 µg), 2 x 16 Reactions
- Do not use the AccelerOme system in an environment that requires explosion protection for safety reasons.
- Do not use the tray positions C, E, and F on the instrument deck for storing vials, reagents, or flammable liquids or for any other purpose. They are meant to be unused.
- Do not insert cigarettes, cigars, e-cigarettes or any other flammable items into the instrument.
- Do not use corrosive materials or infectious samples. There is no protection against infectious samples.
- It is your responsibility to handle hazardous chemicals or biological compounds including (but not limited to) bacterial or viral samples and the associated waste, safely and according to international and local regulations.
- It is your responsibility to select the method matching the test procedure and choose the test kit according to the technique used and as required by the application.
- Thermo Scientific and CTC Analytics AG assume no responsibility for sample placement, syringe insertion, reagent and wash solution selection, and other preparatory tasks. The inadvertent switching of samples or omission of an item cannot be detected or prevented by the AccelerOme system. The AccelerOme system performance limit is bound by the proper placement of samples in the system.
- Thermo Scientific and CTC Analytics assume no responsibility for any form of usage that could cause damage to the product or personal injury.
- Thermo Scientific and CTC Analytics assume no responsibility for any damages caused, in whole or in part, by improper use of the AccelerOme system, unauthorized alterations, adjustments or modifications to the AccelerOme system, or a failure to comply with procedures in this document and the other applicable documents.
- Thermo Scientific and CTC Analytics assume no responsibility for any usage of the AccelerOme system that violates applicable international, national or regional rules, laws, or regulations.
